Teens face charges after shooting

CALDWELL (AP) - Two juveniles are facing charges for stealing a handgun with which a 15-year-old accidentally shot and killed himself, police in southwest Idaho reported.

Caldwell Police Chief Chris Allgood said one of the teens faces potential charges of burglary and grand theft.

Allgood said the other teen is facing charges of abetting burglary and aiding and abetting grand theft.

Names of the two teens from Caldwell haven't been released.

Israel "Ree Ree" Briones of Caldwell died March 13 after police say he was handling the stolen gun at the Caldwell home of a friend when it discharged and struck him in the head.
