Joshua Charles Decker, 36

Joshua Charles Decker accidentally fell to his death Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at age 36. He was born Oct. 2, 1978, to Charles Edward and Linda Jean Decker in Anchorage, Alaska.

Joshua was known for his outgoing nature, big smile, and huge heart. Many considered him a modern-day nomad. His adventurous side led him on many quests. There was no limit to Josh's love for friends and family. He enjoyed the outdoors, going to the beach, snowboarding, hiking, ping-pong, pool and plants.

Joshua was a struggling Christian, but he truly did love the Lord. He now lives in heaven, along with his father Charlie, where his soul can rest in peace.

He is survived by his mother, Linda; brother Leo; four sisters: Rachel, Rebekah, Sarah and Toni; Marvin Klomp, who was like a second father to Josh and his children, Jon and Kiana; and numerous nieces and nephews.

His service was held at his mother Linda Decker's house on April 12, 2015. A big thanks to all who attended and contributed. Without the help of all those who love and supported the Decker family, the lovely service wouldn't have been possible.
