FORWARD: Woman pays it perfectly
I’d like to publicly thank a young woman who helped me when my pickup truck blew a tire on Ramsey Road Thursday. It was near the high school just as school let out for the afternoon. The traffic was heavy and I was blocking the right lane.
This young woman pulled into the next driveway and checked to see what she could do to help. I had already called AAA and was waiting for the truck to arrive, so I really didn’t need assistance. But the young woman insisted on staying and keeping me company. It made the wait more pleasant and I feel badly that I didn’t get her name. I do know that she recently bought the coffee stand right by the transfer station on Ramsey. I will personally stop by to thank her and maybe others of you who frequent the transfer station might do the same. I only know that she’s there from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. It would be great to help her succeed for being such a nice person.
Also, as a safety note, please pay attention to the road and when you encounter a vehicle stopped against the curb with hazard lights flashing PLEASE be careful. Accidents have a way of ruining your day.
