James Sheldon Gregg, 53
Farewell little brother. Jim left us March 31, 2015.
Jim was born Feb. 9, 1962, in Coeur d'Alene. He was proud to say he was a native. He is on a new adventure now. I'm sure he will meet up with his mom. Chances are he will find her decorating or cleaning something. I think he was her favorite - but don't tell the others!
Jim served in the Army from 1979-1986 at Fort Gordon, Ga., as a Tactical Wire Operations Specialist.
Jim loved to hunt and fish. There were so many adventures and maybe a few misadventures with his nephew, Bryan Gregg. First chasing down night crawlers on the golf course, then on to Avondale to fish.
There are so many hunting and fishing trips with family and friends to remember. Mom was always there to take lots of pictures, so I'm sure they are up there plotting new Kodak moments.
Jim was preceded in death by his mom, Mary Jo; and son Travis of Vancouver, Wash. He is survived by a great dad, Paul Gregg; brothers Scott (Sharon) and Bob (Pam); his bossy sister, Regie (Bob); son Tyler and daughter Amber, both of Nevada; and one cute little granddaughter, Arianna.
The family is so very grateful to every single person at Hospice House, as well as to all the Hospice angels who came to his home.
So, little brother, sail away and you and mom at least make an effort to stay out of trouble!
A family gathering for Jim will be this summer, on the next big fishing trip.
