POEM: Seasons of Life

| April 3, 2015 9:00 PM

Soft and silent the wind doth blow drifting across the new fallen snow,

Such beauty my eyes behold, as I walk alone in the chill and cold.

Feeling so relaxed with the moment, memories of the past, and present,

Come to mind, relationships, the nurturing which comes with this, time

Caring and how my years I’ve spent!

Life seems much the same as the seasons. Calm as spring, serene as

summer, vigorous as autumn, yet blustery as winter.

If each new day we could contemplate on the importance of life and seasons

Then patience would give way to fate, when changes occur, we would see the reasons.

Oh! Yes, Spring is the calmness of new growth, Summer the serenity of

Heart, Autumn Oh so vigorous yet, Winter with the blustery anxious need,

For spring with its new beginnings.
