Attempted robbery reported in Post Falls

POST FALLS - A woman told Post Falls Police Friday night that a male hid in the back seat of her vehicle while she was inside a restaurant and demanded money when she returned.

The suspect allegedly grabbed the female as she sat in the driver's seat, then he fled westbound on Seltice Way, according to the Post Falls Police Facebook page.

"The (reporting party) was not able to describe the suspect other than he was wearing dark clothing and possibly had an afro," the Facebook report states.

The woman was not injured and no money was stolen.

Post Falls police declined to release more information or further details Monday about the incident, saying the investigation is in its early stages.
