ANNIVERSARIES
Bruce and Elaine Brownsberger
60th Anniversary
We are pleased to announce the 60th wedding anniversary of our parents Bruce and Elaine Brownsberger. They were married Oct. 1, 1954, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. They have lived in Coeur d'Alene since 1964.
We are celebrating with an open house on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014, between 4-8 p.m. at 203 S. Idaho St., Post Falls.
George and Betty Poteet
50th Anniversary
Betty June Steele and George Willard Poteet were married Oct. 1, 1964, in Lewiston.
After 50 years, four stellar children, four fantastic grandchildren, a generous beautiful daughter-in-law - we are still traveling down the road of life together.
The road has been long and sometimes bumpy, but the love of family makes the happiness and joy outshine the harsher side of life.
We wish happiness and health to our family and to all the friends we have made along the way - a miracle to be sure.
Armand and Billie French
50th Anniversary
Armand and Billie French, of Hayden, celebrated their 50th anniversary on Sept. 21, 2014. They spent the last 35 years in the Coeur d'Alene/Hayden area. The couple met in the Navy. They have three daughters: Teresa Poole of Coeur d'Alene; Trayce Hemenway and husband Mark of Coeur d'Alene; and Tammi Marks and husband Mike of Boise.
They have 10 grandchildren: Jessica Mort, Heather Anderson, LeAnne Poole, Zackary Griffin, Patrick Marks, Kyra Griffin, Christian Hemenway, Summer Hemenway, Elyse Hemenway and Jordyn Nock. They enjoy spending time gardening, are active in their church and spending time with their friends.
WEDDINGS
Madsen-Corwin
Dale and Sandy Perkins are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Beth L. Madsen of Post Falls, to Nicholas D. Corwin of Osburn, son of David and Shelly Corwin of Osburn.
Beth works as a mechanical engineer. Nicholas works as a firefighter/AEMT.
The couple were united in marriage on Aug. 8, 2014, at Falls Park in Post Falls.
The wedding party included Matron of Honor Anna Maddox of Junction City, Ore., and Best Man David Richardson of Post Falls.
The couple will reside in Post Falls.
Absec-Palm
Terry and Kate Absec are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Bridget K. Absec to Mr. Jordan D. Palm, the son of David and Angela Palm, and Dustin and Chandra Sloan. The friends and families of Jordan and Bridget witnessed this beautiful wedding on a spectacularly gorgeous day, June 21, 2014, at The White House in Coeur d'Alene.
Bridget and Jordan are both graduates of Coeur d'Alene High School. The bride is an aesthetician at The Highlands Day Spa in Post Falls and the groom is a technician at Parker Toyota in Coeur d'Alene. The happy couple will make their home in Coeur d'Alene.
BIRTHS
Ella Marie George was born at 8:08 p.m. Sept. 9, 2014, to Rebecca Anne Blackmon and John Hendrix George Jr. of Coeur d'Alene. She weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces and was 20 inches long. Siblings are Camden and Cayden. Maternal grandparents are Jack and Laura Wells. Paternal grandparents are John and Patricia George.
Rosamond Ailine Deters was born at 4:14 p.m. Sept. 5, 2014, to Levi and Adrienne Deters of Spokane at Sacred Heart Medical Center. She weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces and was 20.5 inches long. Proud grandparents are David and Cheri Deters of Post Falls, Glenda Robbins of Spokane and Chris Robbins of Rye, N.H.

Katherine Zehm celebrated her 90th birthday with her daughter, two sons, their spouses, sisters, family and friends.
