• Ground Force Worldwide hires Hundrup as new CFO

Ground Force Worldwide announced that Jared Hundrup has been hired into the role of chief financial officer.

"Hundrup comes to GFW with the executive experience to set course and policy in the financial realm, and the interpersonal charisma that we seek to lead our finance team and round out our executive core team," stated the Post Falls-based company's announcement of the hire.

Hundrup is a University of Idaho graduate with more than 15 years of accounting experience. He spent the last five years as controller for a local manufacturer and has previous experience servicing the mining industry both as a supplier and with a core-drilling company.

He is an outdoor enthusiast, enjoying activities such as rock climbing, scuba diving and riding motorcycles.

• INCF announces new officers, directors, committee members

Inland Northwest Community Foundation announced the following appointments of Kootenai County residents for its fiscal year 2015:

* Board chairman, Dale N. Schuman, Coeur d'Alene. Schuman is Senior Vice President for the Trust & Wealth Management Division of Intermountain Community Bank and Panhandle State Bank. He has been a member of the INWCF board since 2011 and has served on the grants and governance committees.

The following new director was elected to the Board:

* Janice H. Baldwin, Senior Vice President - Investments, Wealth Management Advisor, Merrill Lynch, Coeur d'Alene.

New North Idaho Partnership Council Members:

* Michele Magnuson, Co-Owner, North Idaho Pain Management Clinic, Coeur d'Alene.

* Ellen Delavan, Owner, Delavan Lake Marina, Coeur d'Alene.

Founded in 1974, INWCF serves 10 Eastern Washington counties and 10 North Idaho counties. The community foundation currently manages more than 400 funds valued at more than $85 million and has awarded $48 million in grants and scholarships since its inception.

• Thrive Chiropractic to host open house

Thrive Chiropractic and Advanced Wellness Solutions is now open in Coeur d'Alene.

Husband and wife team Drs. Jeff and Chelsea Pearson opened the office in mid-August.

The community is invited to an open house from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, at 1230 N. Northwood Center Court, Suite A.

Staff will be on hand to answer questions and talk about the wide range of services available.

Jeff specializes in carpal tunnel syndrome, TMJ, neck and back pain, while Chelsea is passionate about pediatric and pregnancy care. The couple also offers Advanced Nutrition Programs and liver detoxification, as well as different massage therapies.

Chelsea started her degree at the University of Calgary and then moved to Minnesota, where she graduated from Northwestern Health Sciences University with her Doctorate of Chiropractic and Bachelor of Science in human biology. She also holds a fellowship in pediatrics and pregnancy care.

Jeff graduated from University of Wisconsin-Lacrosse, majoring in biology and a minor in chemistry. He then graduated from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minnesota with his Doctorate of Chiropractic.
