Big R Stores to be rebranded

COEUR d'ALENE - Big R Stores, owned and operated by CSWW Inc., is undergoing a re-branding.

The local farm and ranch supply stores will be changing their name to North 40 Outfitters.

The re-branding effort is a necessary step in eliminating online confusion with other Big R-branded companies across the U.S.

The Coeur d'Alene store is located at 170 E. Kathleen Ave.

"Our customers have been telling us we have to be available and clear about who we are online," said owner Wayne Wike.

A press release said the company also is planning remodels and store expansions for "the near future."

Each North 40 Outfitters store will be hosting a customer appreciation barbecue from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 4.
