COEUR d'ALENE - An 18-year-old woman from Spokane was arrested Thursday afternoon in the parking lot of Lake City High School for charges stemming from an altercation she had with an unnamed female.

Morgane Wozniak was driven by her father to the school parking lot to meet a 20-year-old woman, a Coeur d'Alene Police Department press release states. The two were meeting in the parking lot so the victim could give Wozniak some property that belonged to her.

However, according to the release, a fight broke out between the two while the victim was seated in her car.

"She alleged that Wozniak held a steak knife to threaten her and then in a separate motion stabbed the seat of her car, causing damage to it," the release states. "A witness stated Wozniak's father got out of his vehicle and stopped the fight and also removed the knife from Wozniak."

Wozniak was arrested by school resource officers and transported to the Kootenai County jail. The release states that she was charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon on school grounds, and malicious injury to property.
