Post Falls mayor

to speak to NIC boosters

COEUR d'ALENE - Post Falls Mayor Ron Jacobson will be the speaker at the North Idaho College Booster Club Luncheon at noon Tuesday at The Coeur d'Alene Resort. Jacobson attended NIC and played basketball for the Cardinals, before receiving his accounting degree from the University of Idaho.

Currently a senior vice president for Inland Northwest Bank, Jacobson was elected mayor for a four-year term in November 2013. He was first appointed to the Post Falls City Council in 1999 and elected as a council member in 2000. He served on the council until January 2014 when he became mayor. He was council president from 2012 to 2014.

The special NIC Booster Club lunch menu at the Resort is $10 or less, and parking is validated. The public is welcome to attend the luncheon. The NIC Booster Club meets on the second and last Tuesday of the month at noon. Information: 769-3348
