| September 25, 2014 9:00 PM

COEUR d'ALENE - Idaho Drug Free Youth will host its iDAHO 360 Celebration Event Oct. 4 at The Coeur d'Alene Resort.

IDFY invites the public to celebrate the difference Idaho residents are making by attending the iDAHO 360 Celebration Event, highlighting how iDAHO 360 members are fueling a wave of empowerment to help young people rise above negative pressure and live full lives.

Since its inception in 1991, IDFY has worked to make a positive impact in the lives of young people in Kootenai County and throughout the state. With an emphasis on inspiration and positive prevention methods, IDFY engages young people in high-energy, motivating experiences fulfilling its mission: To empower youth to lead happy and healthy lives.

The event begins with a social hour and silent auction at 5:30 p.m., followed by a welcome, dinner, IDFY celebration and testimonies from youths who will share their stories and experiences.

Through its programs and events, IDFY directly engages more than 5,000 students each year.

Tickets for the iDAHO 360 Celebration Event are $50 per person or $400 for a table of eight and can be purchased at www.idahodrugfreeyouth.org.
