MILESTONE BIRTHDAY

Isa Varela

90th Birthday

Isa Varela is a resident of Garden Plaza in Post Falls and celebrated her 90th birthday by parasailing on Lake Coeur d'Alene on Sept. 7, 2014. She was encouraged by her family and our activities director Beverley Harris. This was not her only "milestone," since she went skydiving for her 85th and 87th birthdays. She is our true daredevil!

BIRTHS

Leah Rose Miller was born at 11:25 a.m. June 26, 2014, to Monica and Blake Miller of Blanchard at Kootenai Health. She weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces and was 20.5 inches long. Due to life-threatening complications cause by a prolapsed umbilical cord, Leah's care was transferred from Inga Arts, LM, CPM, of Dayspring Midwifery in Hayden to Dr. John Kim in Coeur d'Alene. A healthy baby girl was the result of an emergency C-section and superior services provided by all caregivers.
