ATHOL - Two motorcycle drivers and their passengers were injured Saturday afternoon in an accident on U.S. 95 just south of Athol, the Idaho State Police reported.

Paul R. Boone, 30, of Chattaroy, Wash., was traveling southbound on U.S. 95 at milepost 446.3 shortly after 1 p.m. when he struck a construction barrel in the right lane and lost control of his 2014 Harley Davidson, ejecting him and his passenger, Christina T. Walker, 23, of Spokane, the ISP said.

Todd W. Sullivan, 43, of Spokane Valley, attempted to avoid Boone and lost control of his 1999 Suzuki motorcycle. Sullivan collided with the rear of Boone's motorcycle and ran over Boone. Both Sullivan and his passenger, Michelle M. Sullivan, 41, of Spokane Valley, were ejected.

All four were transported to Kootenai Health in Coeur d'Alene. Walker was the only one of the four wearing a helmet, the ISP said.
