Connie E. Gednalske, 74

Connie E. Gednalske, 74, passed away Sept. 11, 2014, at Wellsprings Meadow Assisted Living Facility in Hayden.

Connie was born Dec. 21, 1939, in Sioux Falls, S.D., to Erma Reppert Goodale and Francis Goodale; she was the oldest of five children. On Oct. 1, 1960, Connie married Rod Gednalske. They spent the next several years in South Dakota, moving to Coeur d'Alene in 1971.

Connie spent several years working in the bakeries of the Coeur d'Alene and Post Falls Tidyman's stores. She enjoyed bowling, flower gardening, and was a member of the Eagles - but her most favorite times were spent with her family, particularly being very active in her grandchildren's lives.

Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Rod; father Frank Goodale; and brother Ronnie Goodale. She is survived by her children Scott Gednalske, Keith (Sevi) Gednalske, and daughter Shelly Anderson; mother Erma Goodale; and siblings Sharon (Bert) Cain, Barbara (Rich) Roeman and Dick (Kris) Goodale. Connie had three special grandchildren whom she loved so dearly - Leah Anderson, and Cody and Colton Gednalske. She is also survived by a large extended family and many friends.
