Cd'A chamber legislative summit set for Sept. 23

The Coeur d'Alene Chamber of Commerce will hold its 11th Annual Legislative/Policy Summit. The discussion will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Sept. 23, at North Idaho College.

The summit provides a venue to share information to help develop the chamber's and the Idaho Chamber Alliance's 2015 State Legislative Agendas. The focus of discussions will be education funding and Idaho Standards, funding for the mental health centers, transportation funding/gas tax increase and Medicaid expansion.

As part of the summit, chamber representatives from throughout North Idaho and legislators will share their chambers' state legislative priorities. Business leaders are encouraged to participate in the discussion.

The cost to attend the lunch meeting is $20.
