Utility work to prompt water shutoffs Area affected by Cd'A water shutoff

Existing water, sewer lines at 11th and Coeur d'Alene being replaced

There will be water service interruptions Monday and Tuesday for about 60 customers in the city of Coeur d'Alene.

Replacement of existing water and sewer lines at the intersection of 11th Street and Coeur d'Alene Avenue is prompting the shutoffs. Customers along Coeur d'Alene Avenue between Ninth Street and 14th Street will be affected. Service will be stopped Monday from 4-6 p.m. and Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The utility work required the closure of 11th Street from Lakeside Avenue north to Indiana Avenue. The street is expected to re-open in two weeks.

Door-hanger notifications were distributed to all affected residents and businesses earlier this week. Any affected residents or businesses requiring special needs are encouraged to contact the Water or Wastewater Departments. Commuters should expect some traffic delays and are encouraged to find alternative routes, as traffic will be rerouted around the 11th Street and Coeur d'Alene Avenue intersection.
