PICNIC: Sponsors key to success

I would like to express our sincere gratitude on behalf of the residents of Dalton Gardens to our local business sponsors that support our annual picnic and potluck held on Saturday, Sept. 6. This event would not be possible without the generosity of our local business sponsors.

I wish to recognize all of the volunteers that donate their time to coordinate this community event. Your time and support is what makes this gathering for our city a wonderful tradition that many residents look forward to each year. A special thank you to Karen Kimball and The Back Country Horseman for providing 17 volunteers from your club to us this year!

I wish to thank George Wuest, Kootenai County Fire & Rescue, Kootenai County Sheriff's Department, Kootenai County Sheriff's Labor Program, Tim's Special Cut Meats, Inc., Phuddy Duddy's Cruisers Car Club, Rustler's Roost, STCU, Cenex and Super 1 Foods for your generous support of our picnic.

A big thank you to our Dalton Garden's businesses that donated prizes for our drawing: The Party's Here, Tim's Special Cut Meats, Inc., North Idaho Log Furniture, Creative Touch Floral, Shimmer Nail Salon, The Big Picture, Jake's Dry Dock, Frame It and STCU.

We encourage all of our residents to attend next year's picnic, meet your neighbors and get involved in our community!

Sincerely,

KIMBERLY NORTH, deputy clerk
