Stay healthy and comfortable hiking with alpaca socks

I love family hikes around Tubbs Hill and walking along Mineral Ridge with beautiful views of Lake Coeur d'Alene, while we stretch our legs and give the dogs a chance to take in all the smells around the area. Whenever I go for a hike, I always wear my trusty Alpaca socks. Some days we start out early in the brisk morning air, and hike until the sun rises and heats up the trail along with my feet. Luckily, my alpaca socks always adapt to the weather and keep my feet comfortable during our hikes.

Our Alpacor socks are made with a patented fiber that goes through 18 different manufacturing steps to create a strong, comfortable sock with incredible moisture-wicking properties. Our Dahlgren socks have a patented design that combines natural and synthetic fibers in targeted wicking zones to move moisture out of the shoe and up to the ankle where it can evaporate.

As we were hiking around Tubbs Hill this past weekend, I spotted a couple sitting on a rock, airing out their feet after a long hike. Most people don't think of wearing alpaca socks in the summer and fall since they are normally thought of as great socks for cold weather. The reality is that our alpaca socks are great year-round, and we have a variety of styles to keep your feet dry and comfortable no matter what Mother Nature serves up for the day.

If you know someone who loves hiking, or are heading out on your own outdoor activity, we hope you mention us or come by our store and try a pair of our incredible alpaca sports socks. We have perfected the designs over the years and now have over 30 combinations of styles and colors to meet your needs.
