The drivers involved in Monday's crash at Highway 53 and Pleasant View Road in the Hauser area were treated and released from Kootenai Health.

According to Idaho State Police, Kimberly J. Lewis, 40, Oldtown, was driving a 1989 Chevy Blazer westbound on Highway 53 at 1:58 p.m. and approaching the Pleasant View intersection.

Lewis was signaling to turn southbound onto Pleasant View when Reginald R. Harris, 42, Greenacres, Wash., who was driving a 2010 Peterbilt semi, approached the intersection and attempted to pass the Blazer.

The Peterbilt struck the Blazer as the Blazer turned.

The roadway was blocked for about two and a half hours while the crash was investigated.
