Coeur d'Alene sweeps Lakeland

COEUR d'ALENE - Megan Ramseyer had 15 kills, 10 assists and four digs to lead the Coeur d'Alene Vikings past the Lakeland Hawks 25-16, 25-14, 25-17 in a nonleague match Tuesday night at Elmer Jordan Court.

Ali Williams had 19 assists, Sydnee Bybee six kills and Delaney Schmidt four digs for Coeur d'Alene (5-0), which travels to Gonzaga Prep on Thursday.

"Ali and Megan did a good job of keeping our offense balanced tonight," Coeur d'Alene coach Dee Pottenger said.

Lexi Black had seven kills and Kaidan Kelsey had four kills and two blocks for Lakeland (1-4), which travels to Moscow for a 4A Inland Empire League match on Thursday.

Central Valley d. Lake City

SPOKANE VALLEY - Natalie Taylor had 16 kills and three aces for the visiting Timberwolves in a 25-15, 23-25, 25-18, 25-19 loss to the Bears.

CC Cates had 38 assists and 12 digs, Brittany Gay seven kills, Alisa Ricciardi 13 digs for Lake City (1-2), which hosts Sandpoint on Thursday.

Trojans split in tri-match

POST FALLS - Allison Munday had 11 kills and Lydea Schneider had 13 assists to lead the Trojans past the Moses Lake Chiefs 28-26, 19-25, 25-19, 25-16 at The Arena.

Brook Gomer and Brooke Bowers had nine digs and two blocks, Andra Beck 12 assists for Post Falls (5-3) against Moses Lake.

Earlier, Gomer and Bowers had 11 digs for the Trojans in a 21-25, 25-15, 25-17, 25-19 loss to the Moscow Bears.

Amanda Westlake and Munday had seven kills, Schneider and Beck 11 assists for Post Falls against Moscow.

"I think we were a little inconsistent tonight," Post Falls coach Willow Hanna said. "But we finished with our best game. We improved through the night, which was good to see."

Post Falls is at Lewiston on Thursday.

Riverside d. Timberlake

CHATTAROY, Wash. - Courtney Eaton had five assists and Kiara Hauck five digs for the Tigers in a 25-14, 25-17, 25-23 loss to the Rams.

Jacquelyn Mallet and Jamie Lickfold had two kills each for Timberlake (0-3), which hosts Bonners Ferry on Thursday in the Intermountain League opener for both schools.

Wallace d. Cd'A Charter

WALLACE - Shelby Majszak had nine kills and 15 digs and Maryssa Hogamier had five kills and nine digs to lead the Miners past the Panthers 25-22, 19-25, 16-25, 25-15, 15-9 in a nonleague match.

Coeur d'Alene Charter (3-1) travels to St. Maries next Tuesday.

Wallace (1-2) travels to Lakeside on Thursday.

Liberty d. Lakeside

PLUMMER - Talia Hendrickx had 19 digs, nine assists and two aces for the host Knights, who fell 20-25, 25-19, 25-21, 25-12 to the Lancers of Spangle, Wash., in nonleague play.

Rachael Arthur had 20 digs, Te'a Lambert 20 digs and three aces, Cailyn Dohrman 13 digs, four kills and two blocks for Lakeside (0-3).

Maggie Nelson had nine aces, seven kills and four blocks for Liberty. Abby Karlis had 16 assists, Kaitlyn Rambo seven digs.

"We're a young team, and we're making improvements every game," Lakeside co-coach Karyn Stockdale said. "Serve-receive was an issue; our passing was an issue."

Lakeside plays host to Wallace on Thursday.

Kootenai Thunder d. N.I. Christian

COEUR d'ALENE - Katelyn Stegman had 10 assists for the Royals in a 25-23, 25-22, 25-14 loss to Kootenai Thunder in a Mountain Christian League match at Venture High.

Rayla Andrews had five kills and five digs and Grace Gipson had five aces for North Idaho Christian (1-1, 1-1 MCL), which hosts Pullman Christian on Thursday at Venture High.

Christian Heritage d. Genesis Prep

POST FALLS - The Patriots defeated the Jaguars 20-25, 25-16, 25-23, 25-22 in Mountain Christian League play at Real Life Ministries.

Stats were not available.

Genesis Prep (0-2, 0-2 MCL) faces Kootenai Thunder on Thursday at Cocolalla Base Camp.
