PUYALLUP, Wash. - Adam Talley scored two second-half goals to lead North Idaho College past the Pierce Community College Raiders 4-0 on Saturday in a Northwest Athletic Conference match.

"Both teams had opportunities in the first half and Mitch (Markovetz) came up with a couple of big saves," NIC coach Ken Thompson said. "In the second half, we got Adam in the right spots and started to find him a little better and put some shots away."

Alec Johnson and Matt Howard added goals for NIC (3-0, 2-0 NWAC), which hosts Walla Walla on Tuesday.

"Alec's goal was the type we expect him to score," Thompson said. "He got it in the middle of the box and planted it into the left corner. It was a good finish."

PUYALLUP, Wash. - Former Sandpoint High standout Meghan Pagano scored in the 76th minute to give the Cardinals the lead, but a late goal by the host Raiders evened the score in a Northwest Athletic Conference draw.
