Wild West Winds to perform at Kroc Center Sept. 12

COEUR d'ALENE - The Wild West Winds, a part of the U.S. Air Force Band of the Golden West from Travis Air Force Base, Calif., will be performing at the The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center Sept. 12.

The Wild West Winds is a group of four clarinetists who perform at several events and venues throughout the West Coast, ranging from military assignments and patriotic shows to educational classes and library performances.

The versatility of the ensemble provides opportunities for the clarinetists to showcase a wide range of musical styles, including marches, patriotic, popular, jazz and classical.

The group caters to all types of venues. Patriotic and recital shows present an assortment of music for general audiences while the educational program provides a lively, interactive setting through concerts and master classes for students of every ability.

Tickets to see the Wild West Winds at 7 p.m. Sept. 12 are free and available at the Kroc Center, located at 1765 W. Golf Course Road.
