VOTE: Party affiliation matters

| October 30, 2014 9:00 PM

Is it an oversight that Democrat candidates Anne Nesse, Cheryl Stransky, Bruce Noble and Jerry Shriner leave their party affiliation off their literature and signs, or is it an intentional attempt to try and separate themselves from a party whose leadership continues to hurt us and take away our freedom? At least Anne Nesse is honest on her website, and her motto, “Move Idaho Forward” mimics Obama’s “Move America Forward,” leaving no question that she would follow in lock step with the failed policies of the current administration.

I keep hearing the Democrats say that we should vote for the person, not the party. A candidate’s party affiliation is a clear indicator of their values and beliefs about government policy. Don’t be fooled by the moderate rhetoric coming from the Democratic candidates. Remember, President Obama campaigned as a moderate but has governed as a far left progressive. We don’t need that Idaho!
