PHILLIPS: Dan really is the man

This is a letter of appreciation to the Coeur d’Alene Press. I was lucky enough to have two opportunities to work for this great organization and now feel I should let you know how appreciative I am. I worked in the circulation department under Dan Phillips, who in my opinion is the best manager anywhere. His staff, including Jeff, Bob G., David, Darci, Sheri and Angela, Jason, John, Chris, Biker Bob, Lori and Greg (Brittney and Robyn being new to me) are likewise talented and exceptional to work with.

As for Dan, I really think he is a rare breed who is able to utilize the talents of his personnel, making them know they are part of a team while still commanding discipline and respect. I am now honored to call him friend as well.

I have worked many different places and called several places home, but really the Coeur d’Alene area and specifically the Coeur d’Alene Press are nearest and dearest to me. From top to bottom, I really believe it is a first-class organization and am proud to have been a part.
