VOTE: Nesse and Stransky

| October 28, 2014 9:00 PM

We need significant changes if Idaho is going to improve economically and educationally.

Both gender balance and political balance will be required. 49.9 percent of the population is female, yet in the state legislature we have only 28 women and 77 men. There are 85 republicans, but only 20 democrats. Many of us are not being represented. This has proven to be harmful to the state in that children are not a priority!

In Kootenai County we have the opportunity to send two hardworking women to Boise: Cheryl Stransky in District 2 and Anne Nesse in District 4B. Both are well educated, energetic and committed to making Idaho better.

Education will not be properly funded by representatives who have no respect for the value of a strong educational system. A living wage will not be important to those who have a “self-made man” image of success. (Sometimes success comes from being in the “right place at the right time” rather individual effort).

Cheryl Stransky and Anne Nesse are both mothers who have had successful careers. They have the time and energy. Representing the people of Idaho is more than a job to them.

They will serve as positive examples to the daughters of Idaho.

Please vote to bring the balance to Idaho that is so desperately needed.
