STRANSKY: Has local support
We have an amazing opportunity to elect a well qualified, accomplished professional and long-term resident of Dalton Gardens to represent us as state representative, District 2A. Possessing a master’s degree in counseling, providing educational guidance to generations of students in the Coeur d’Alene, area, including her two children who attended our local public schools, she is uniquely qualified to pursue our common beliefs in Boise. Advocating for increased support to educate children, increasing the minimum wage, and increasing access to state and federal lands, she is clearly what we need in state government. Very telling is the fact that the vast majority of her campaign contributions come from local citizens, not out of state, disinterested special interests.
Contrast this pedigree to that of Vito Barbieri; a California lawyer who is not qualified to practice law in Idaho. It is my understanding that he makes his living operating an E Cigarette shop. Of his campaign contributors, only two are local. His major funding comes from out of state organizations and political PACS. His zeal to refuse to increase taxes reaches a level of harming public education, a vital necessity in Idaho and the United States. Idaho cannot continue to be at the bottom of the nation’s barrel just because legislators like Barbieri simply say “no” to everything.
There is only one rational choice for state representative, District 2A: ELECT CHERYL STRANSKY on Nov. 4.
