EBERLEIN: Best for commissioner

I am supporting Marc Eberlein for commissioner and I hope you do too. I have known Marc for many years; he is a smart, kind, considerate man. He leads his life with dignity and fairness. He is a successful businessman with lots of experience. He is a man of conviction, he is not the type to put his finger to the wind and change his convictions (or party affiliation for that matter), in order to gain political favor. This country is full of politicians willing to do “whatever it takes;” it usually doesn’t turn out too well for us citizens.

Kootenai County needs someone willing to ask the tough questions and demand answers. Between the ULUC, a county employee embezzling money, incompetence, few in leadership paying attention, etc., the county has wasted too much time and money — it needs to stop. We need leadership at the top willing to stand up and put an end to it. We need leadership to put this county back on track. Marc is that man.

Ronald Reagan once said, “Man is not free unless government is limited,” and “Government’s first duty is to protect the people, not run their lives.” Liberals didn’t like President Reagan; they used words like radical, extremist and much worse to describe him. Sound familiar?

Vote for the best qualified candidate. Vote for Marc Eberlein.
