USPS: Been there, failed at that

I read Mr. Paige’s letter about the USPS with great amazement. He is so wrong it is stunning. He states that no tax dollars are used. Really? According to the postmaster general, the USPS is losing $25,000,000 per day. The postal union fought to keep Saturday delivery even though the taxpayers did not want it. The USPS even hired FedEx to carry mail as it was cheaper than they could do it.

I appreciate that most USPS employees work hard but this service is no longer necessary to the citizens as it stands. Privatize it NOW.
