POLICE: Idaho 1, California 0
I find Mr. Bill Singleton’s opinion article to be a bit self-effacing in siting his vastly superior law enforcement training and experience since it was acquired in California. With the superior training and experience of having served there, one has to ask why the per capita crime and homicide rate there doesn’t correlate to success. I refer to homicide of people and children (not dogs).
I believe Bill exhibits signs of bringing too much liberal baggage with him from the state that believes they are more enlightened than the local rubes here.
Having been career military, I had to serve several tours in the liberal utopia. I’ve seen the politics and law enforcement there, and I’m in no way impressed with either.
Statistics here in Idaho show our officers are doing better than those you compare them to, so I’ll take my local rubes anytime.
While closing his letter with Thank God for Idaho was great, hopefully the transplants that want to change our state into the liberal sewer they left won’t succeed.
