Cardinal volleyball team returns

home to face Salt Lake tonight

COEUR d'ALENE - Fresh off a split on its recent road trip, the North Idaho College volleyball team returns to Christianson Gym tonight at 7 p.m. to face the 10th-ranked Salt Lake Bruins in a Scenic West Athletic Conference match.

NIC (9-8, 3-4 SWAC) is currently fourth in the conference with three matches remaining. Salt Lake (16-8, 4-2) is tied for second with Snow (17-4, 4-2).

Snow, ranked seventh in this week's NJCAA poll, beat Salt Lake in five games last week.

Southern Idaho (22-1, 7-0) can clinch at least a tie for the conference title tonight against Snow, and could win it outright with a win on Saturday against Salt Lake.
