NESSE: For a better Idaho
They keep saying Idaho is “improving” but for four years straight we’ve been neck and neck with Mississippi as the lowest disposable income in the U.S. Poorly funded schools are the dying canary of a state where politicians can get elected by parroting well-worn rhetoric. That’s why I vote for individual candidates who have demonstrated qualifications and the experience to see something better for Idaho.
For 20 years, I’ve known Anne Nesse’s desire for a better world. Driven by her values, she has tirelessly and unselfishly devoted the last few years to campaigning for better wages, not for herself, but so Idaho workers can buy the goods, cars and houses to make our economy thrive again. Her experiences as a nurse, educator and a business owner uniquely prepare her to stand up for better technology, health care and education.
Idaho doesn’t have to be last in anything. We have land, water and minerals other states only dream of. Anne Nesse wants to move Idaho forward and I’d like to give her, and individuals like her, a chance to bring needed fresh blood to the State House.
