COUNTY: Pick only the best

I would like to express the following concerns I have about the local upcoming elections. My first concern is David Stewart and Marc Eberlein, running for the two county commissioners’ positions, are campaigning together and appear to be supported by an extreme special interest group. If they are elected, I’m not sure they will represent the public fairly. I can foresee they will continue favoring the special interest group. With only three commissioners, this could cause serious problems. There is a better qualified individual running for one of these positions and that brings me to my second concern.

There are so many die-hard Republicans in Kootenai County who vote for the party and NOT FOR THE BEST QUALIFIED for the position. I would like to encourage everyone to vote for the best qualified individual and forget party lines. I think this is the only way we will get our country, state and county back on the right track.
