VOTE: Democrats for real freedom

Beware the rhetorical flag of freedom being waved by the Republican party. Traditionally and today, Republicans take care of wealthy individuals and large corporations by providing them tax cuts and loopholes, leaving us to pick up those tax obligations.

Voices in the party want to decimate Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. Not having these programs that provide safety and security is not freedom. Not having a livable wage, and watching our relative salaries fall over the years is not freedom.

Fortunately, fresh voices in the Democrat party, both nationally and locally, will fight for working people and fight to create jobs.

It’s time for a change in Idaho, and you’d be wise to vote for Democrat candidates in the upcoming elections.
