Mary T. Frey

| October 19, 2014 9:00 PM

On Oct. 7, 2014, the Lord took Mary T. Frey home. Mary passed in a very loving atmosphere surrounded by her children and cared for by the best at Hospice House in Hayden, Idaho.

Mary will be remembered most for her incredible sense of humor and an indescribable love for her grandchildren and family.

Mary's caring for others will not go unnoticed. Mary was beautiful, charming, and was an instant friend to whomever she crossed paths with. Anyone who knew or encountered Mary Frey will have an indelible imprint in their hearts in some manner because of her beautiful soul.

She always loved little writings and quotes of which she had many of her own including "I made up my mind to love because hate is too heavy a burden to bare." Keep these words in mind as you remember our mother who was the best at loving family and friends.

Mary worked a number of years at Kootenai Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rueben, and three of her children: son James A Frey, daughter Mary L. Smiley, and son Martin J. Utecht. Mary is survived by six children: Jane A. Archer (Tom), William T. Frey (Sandy), Vicky R. Stehlar (Dave), Garry P. Frey (Julie), Jeffrey S. Frey (Ginny), and Roberta J. Koep (Bob); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.

The memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Rathdrum, Idaho.

It is our wish as a family, and we would appreciate, that in lieu of flowers please donate to Hospice of North Idaho, 2290 W. Prairie Ave., Hayden, ID., 83835
