MARRIAGE: Pins and needles, indeed
Oh my God, you would think that we just had an outbreak of Ebola in Idaho. Instead of worrying about a few same-sex marriages, we should be on “pins and needles” about the real problems of the world. Things like climate change, oil spills in the gulf, algae in our lakes and water, minimum wages, education and pets being killed by traps. These things will affect our children more than things like gay marriage.
Our governor is up for reelection and he has some right wing nuts running against him, which should split the republican ticket (so Democrats, get out there and vote). He is doing everything to get the vote back in North Idaho. Remember the state mental hospital? If he wanted to do something positive for the state, he should have taken Medicaid. We are paying for it.
We are in the 21st century. We have computers and the Internet, where you can get porno, learn how to make a bomb, get your identity stolen and have no privacy with all of these so called smart phones, violent video games and school shootings, yet everybody accepts these things as part of the times. Where are the rallies of these things? Is being a homosexual a sin; will people go to hell for it? I think that is between that person and God.
It’s really funny they held that rally in front of a Bible store. Maybe they should read what’s in that Bible. There is nothing in the NEW testament about homosexuals. Look up Matthew 7, verses 1-5. “Do not judge lest you be judged. Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye.” So quit judging other people. Even the Pope said, “Who am I to judge?”
