• Ketchum managing KPMG office in Hong Kong

Tiernan Ketchum has joined the Hong Kong office of the accounting firm KPMG as manager. Ketchum worked previously for the International Accounting Standards Board in London.

Ketchum, son of Robert and Heather Ketchum of Coeur d'Alene, is a graduate of Lake City High School and the University of Hawaii. He holds a C.P.A. in Idaho, and began his career in public finance with the U.S. Army in Seoul, Korea.

• Hathaway promoted to commercial loan officer

Jack W. Gustavel, chairman and CEO of Idaho Independent Bank, announced the promotion of Jill Hathaway to commercial loan officer at the bank's Coeur d'Alene branch.

Hathaway has 11 years of banking experience and has been employed with Idaho Independent since September 2003.
