Military appreciation night

set for Friday in Post Falls

Post Falls High will hold a military appreciation night at Friday's football game against Lewiston.

Game time is 7 p.m. and all active and retired military personnel get in free with their military ID.

Lake City grad tabbed

NAMPA - Freshman Madi Farrell's been a force for the Crusaders all season long, and last week was no different.

The Lake City High graduate was a wall at the net for 18th-ranked Northwest Nazarene during two home wins, recording 13 blocks for the Crusaders to earn Great Northwest Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors in volleyball.

Farrell, a 6-foot-2 middle blocker, had two solo blocks and eight assisted blocks in a win over Montana State-Billings, along with nine kills on Saturday in Nampa.

She also had five kills and two blocks in last Thursday's win against Seattle Pacific.

Red vs. White scrimmage

The North Idaho College men's basketball Red vs. White scrimmage has been moved to tonight at 6 p.m. at Rolly Williams Court.

The event was moved due to the Coeur d'Alene-Lake City football game on Friday.

The game is free and open to the public.
