TRAINS: The sound of a nightmare
I recently moved to Post Falls. I was not warned about the train horns in the middle of the night. Some trains go by without blowing their horns at all but others seem to really get their jollies by waking everyone up. The crossings have automated gates and flashing lights so why do some of these train operators blast away when there is clearly no need? It’s obvious that this is nothing more than simple harassment by the operators of the trains; I’m sure when they all get together they have great laughs recounting their horn blowing exploits.
I can only conclude that they are sick, twisted little men who really get off by harassing the locals. Try explaining to a 7-year-old why she was blasted out of her bed at 3 in the morning by an explosion of sound. Property values are for sure affected and I am rethinking my decision to live in this train harassment blast zone.
Buying property here is a big mistake. Goodbye, Post Falls. It was great fun living here but I must be on my way — to a train-free zone.
