Joan Hart, 84

Joan Hart, 84, passed away peacefully on Oct. 6, 2014.

Joan was born on March 23, 1930, in Eugene, Ore. She married Gale Hart in 1950 and they were married for 52 years until he passed away in 2002.

Joan was a very talented artist and participated in several local and regional art shows. She loved to travel in her RV and view nature in hopes of inspiration for another painting.

She had many friends and will truly be missed.

Joan is survived by her son, Jared Hart, and daughter-in-law, Lynnette Hart.

A funeral service is planned for 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14, at Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 S. Pines Road, Spokane Valley, Wash. Following the funeral there will a short committal service at Pines Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her husband, Gale Hart.
