FLU: Wishing it on a writer

In rebuttal to Wesley Ewers’ letter on Oct. 1: First of all, you are dead wrong. I almost died from the flu a few years ago. Since then, I faithfully get a flu shot every year.

It’s a shame young parents read your false info and don’t get their kids and themselves vaccinated. Your letter is full of B.S. — and I hope you young parents don’t believe a word of it.

Mr. Ewers, I hope you get the flu. Frankly, I’ve had my flu shot. I intend to get the vaccines for shingles and whooping cough, too.
