Mary M. Cease, 85

Mary M. Cease, 85, passed away Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014, in Post Falls, Idaho.

Mary was born June 30, 1929, to Joseph and Tillie Harris in Nanticoke, Pa. She resided in Bloomsburg, Pa., from 1957 to 2005, when she relocated to Post Falls to be closer to her daughter.

Mary was an amazing mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, wife and friend. She was active in the Red Hat Flappers, Chapter 84073, serving as Queen in 2013. She was active with senior volunteers in Post Falls, participating in Relay for Life, Toys for Tots, New Vision High School, and the Post Falls Food Bank to name a few.

Mary was also an active member of St. George's Catholic Church. She will be remembered for being there for everyone who came into her life. Mary had "Heart."

She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, William J. Cease; her parents, three sisters and three brothers.

Mary is survived by her children, Richard Cease of Southmayd, Texas, Donna Lee Lama of Nepal, Nancy Webster of Post Falls, and William J. Cease II of Price, Texas; her grandchildren, who were the love of her life, Whitni Nardozza, Joshua Cease, Sabrina Nelson, Dorjee Lama, Brittney Litalien, Peepza Lama and Porba Lama; two great-grandchildren, Jayden Nardozza and Charlize Nelson; and her sister, Henrietta Bruza of Nanticoke, Pa.

A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 9, at St. George's Catholic Church in Post Falls. Internment will be held at 11 a.m. on Oct. 17, in Ceasedale Cemetery, Ceasetown, Pa. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's memory may be made to Hospice House of North Idaho.
