LETTER: Bitter and bizarre

Please accept this as a response to the bizarre “Letter to the Editor” from Millie Hayes published in Sunday’s paper. First of all, it is a total misnomer to even consider calling her silly rant a true “Letter to the Editor.” Letters to the Editor usually contain a commentary on current events or, if a problem is addressed, a possible solution is generally presented.

I will view her letter as a problem/solution one, even though she omitted the obvious solution to her problem. Problem: Ms. Hayes dislikes the weather, the working conditions, the medical options and the shopping facilities in Idaho. Problem: She did not do her homework prior to deciding to move to the “horrific town” of Post Falls in the “worst state” of all — Idaho.

Solution: Return to her beloved California as quickly as possible. I firmly believe there will be no shortage of volunteers to help her pack her U-Haul and very few, if any, citizens regretting her decision to move on.
