Sturgis Memorial Members Derby winners announced

COEUR d'ALENE - The winners are in from this past weekend's Sturgis Memorial Members Derby.

The prizes for the top Chinooks on Lake Coeur d'Alene were $1,000 for first, $500 for second and $250 for third.

Debbie Pierce took first place with a 14.26-pound, 31-and-a-half-inch Chinook.

Ray Allison was second with a 13 pounder, measuring 33 inches. Brad Sturgis was third with a 12.72 pounder, measuring 29 and three-quarters inches.

The top six were rounded out with Mike Carlson's 12.62 pounder, measuring 31 inches; Bret Hojem's 12.04 pounder, measuring 27 and a half inches; and Dan Pierce's 11.32 pounder, measuring 29 inches.
