MEMORIAL: Request for help answered

On Friday evening, the VFW placed flags on all the graves in Forest and Riverview cemeteries. We asked for help from the public and the response was wonderful. When I arrived at Forest Cemetery a little before the posted starting time, the cemetery looked like a parking lot. Boy Scout Troop 3, Cub Scout Pack 3, Scoutmasters, Den Mothers and many members of the public were there in force.

It was wonderful to see so many people who remember what Memorial Day is really all about and VFW Post 889 would like to thank each and every one of you that came out to help.
