ELECTION: Bad is looking even worse

The inmates have taken over the asylum! The results of the Republican Primary in Kootenai County are deeply troubling to anyone who wants functional government.

With the exceptions of Luke Malek and Mike McDowell, the slate of candidates selected by the very few who were allowed to vote in the Republican primary, and the low participation by those who are registered as Republicans, have unleashed on the rest of us, the very people who have already and/or will in the future strive to make government as dysfunctional as possible, while screaming from the rooftops that government is the problem.

How bad does it have to get before people stop voting against their own best interests, or at least bother to get informed and vote at all?
