ELECTION: Vote for 'good guys'

| May 16, 2014 9:37 PM

We grow up watching the struggle and, by observation, learn that each side comes with its own set of expectations. The good guys have many boundaries that mean nothing to the bad guys. Not respecting boundaries is what makes them bad guys. Bad guys are expected to lie and cheat, and good guys to play it straight. Cheating is unacceptable to good guys, and we call that honor. Good guys are bound by honor to avoid cheating or taking unfair advantage. Of course, bad guys have no such obligation, and may even attempt to disguise themselves as good guys to gain advantage, much like an identity thief would do, and that is what we here in our lovely North Idaho are facing.

The bad guys are cheating; disguising themselves as good guys so they may gain the power to undermine the very country they “so proudly hail.” Conservatives disguising themselves as Democrats because they don’t stand on solid enough moral ground to act with honor. Is there a more un-American stance to be taken than this: That it’s acceptable to cheat and lie to your neighbors?

When you vote this Tuesday, please be aware there is cheating going on and that bad guys often do not care enough to distinguish one victim from another when the payoff is big enough, so you could be next. Even if you agree with their agenda, if they are elected all you end up with is a bunch of cheaters, whom you already know cannot be trusted.

Please make an attempt to vote with honor; for a candidate with honor.
