THOMAS: She'll inspire trust

There has been a severe lack of public trust in our elected officials lately. And while a lot of that may be for good reason, it makes it even more notable when we get the chance to vote for someone who is professional, respectable, and trustworthy. That person is Laurie Thomas, candidate for County Treasurer. Laurie has proven herself as Chief Deputy Treasurer for 13 years, looking after our tax dollars with responsibility, and managing people and tasks with professionalism and expertise. She is not only fiscally conservative, but also has the character and integrity to be trusted with such an important job.
