ELECTION: Vote for more freedom
The Idaho Freedom Foundation Index is a non-partisan analysis and rating of bills voted on by the Idaho Legislature. Each legislator is rated on each vote. Positive numbers indicate a pro-free market and freedom-oriented voting record. Negative numbers indicate a big-government, more regulation, and tax raising voting record. What legislators SAY they will do is not considered. The index shows how they voted.
The NIPAC endorsees’ scores were all negative, averaging -62. Endorsees included the senator with the lowest score, -72, lower than all the democrats. The NIPAC slate are strong supporters of Common Core and the State Exchange (Obamacare in Idaho). These candidates claim to be “reasonable” and “balanced,” however there is no evidence to support that assertion.
The KCRCC’s slate’s average is a freedom loving +104, showing they would put us on a path to free markets, small government, lower taxes and more freedom. In contrast the NIPAC slate would continue on the path to bigger government, more regulation, higher taxes and less individual freedom. The choice is very clear.
How do you sell an abysmal voting record? Distract voters with nonsense arguments about the 17th Amendment and claim that through “public private partnership” cronyism the government can create jobs (like Solyndra)? In truth they wanted to take away your vote on county officials (streamline), reduce school choice (Common Core), seize property rights (ULUC), tax you without representation (URDs), pick winners and losers, and socialize your healthcare.
For honest government with more freedom, lower taxes, better healthcare and more jobs, vote for: Jim Risch, Raul R. Labrador, Russ Fulcher, Jim Chemlik, Lawrence Denny, Todd Hatfield, Chris Troupis, John Eynon, Steve Vick, Vito Barbieri, Eric Redman, Bob Nonini, Ron Mendive, Don Cheatham, Mary Souza, Kathy Sims, Toby Schindelbeck, Marc Eberlein, David Stewart, Jim Brannon, Mike McDowell and Steven Matheson.
