Sharon Lee Juinta Robertson, 78

Sharon Lee Juinta (Robertson) passed May 10, 2014, in Post Falls, Idaho, after a long battle with cancer.

Sheri was was born March 3, 1936, in Yakima, Wash., and moved to the Olympia, Washington area. She met the love of her life, Joseph, at age 14 and they were married in June 1953. Sheri and Joseph were married for 59 years.

After a move to Ellensburg, Wash., in 1968, Sheri worked as a paralegal while Joe attended college.

Sheri loved to volunteer at hospitals. She was awarded many honors for her service of well over 20 years. Sheri volunteered up until the last year when she became too ill. She and her beloved Joe loved to camp, and travel internationally. Sheri took her last cruise, arriving home less than two weeks before she passed.

Sheri was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, in 2012; and her grandson, Jesse, in 2001. She is survived by her children: Shelley Robertson, Suzanne Morrison, Tony Talacko (Eva), and Stephanie Kelley (John); 12 grandchildren, and numerous great and great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at noon, on Saturday, May 17, at St. Pius X Church, 625 E. Haycraft Ave., Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Newby-ginnings, 147 E. Aqua Circle #2, Dalton Gardens, ID 83815. Newby-ginnings is a non-profit organization that supports returning veterans with essential items. There will be a reception at the church following the service.
